FACEBOOK MARKETING »THANK GOD IT'S MONDAY«

Fridays are a wonderful thing! The weekend is within reach, and with it the prospect of relaxing, sleeping in and doing nothing. But Mondays? They are the epitome of renunciation, drudgery, and a workweek spent in the straitjacket of foreign domination. With our campaign "Thank God it's Monday" (T.G.I.M.), we turned the prevailing glorification of Fridays on its head - in honor of Mondays.

To do so, we asked visitors to our Facebook profile to post why they love the first day of the week, of all days. The ten most beautiful, imaginative and crazy reasons were then rewarded with an L+L "Lovely Monday Kit". The result: numerous posts and shared postings, a high reach and numerous new Facebook friends. And last but not least, a significant increase in traffic to our website linked to the campaign!
